What’s Happening IndieBird?
I’m learning Flash so that you guys don’t have to download large executable packages. I worked with Flash back when during my EA stint and it left a bad impression. To be fair, we were running it in an embedded browser back then, so that explains a lot. Still, the overwhelming impression that I have is of writing UI widgets that were nice and swooshy in the dev testbed and chunky-slow in the game. Bleh.
Still, things are different now – Flash is huge and fits nicely into my plans. I think that it’s a bit faster too.

You should get forums so people can talk about strategies for your games. It also goes along with the thing you said earlier about democratically creating your next game.

Yes, forums are a good idea. I’m working on a Facebook fan page right now, but I should make a forum too.

Hmmm, does that mean that you have to spin your monitor to toss the ball? =P
One idea I have is the interactive essay – my thoughts on game design accompanied by small example games.
