New Game Screenshots
I’ve taken some screenshots to show off the things I’ve been working on recently. Here’s a sneak peek.

Flamethrowers allow the player to decimate tightly packed groups of zombies. They’re great against crowds, but they have a limited range.

Sniper rifles don’t do so well against advancing enemies, but they’re great for picking off things from a distance. A solitary marine with a sniper rifle can destroy a hive all by himself. If you want to capture that point, however, you’ll need some help.

The siege gun is the latest and greatest in anti-zombie artillery. Big and expensive, it rains a barrage of explosive shells down on enemy crowds and structures. This baby doesn’t come cheap, but when you build it you can be sure that nothing will survive in its vicinity for long.

Looks awesome Alex =D Im super excited. Keep up the good work!
And btw, the word “decimate” literally means to remove 10% of, so that flame thrower doesn’t sound very good =)

Ha! Good point, pwn monkey. Haha. Makes me curious. Did he really mean decimate and was just being honest while at the same time trying to slip one by us? Or just a little verbacular confusion? =) jk.
Does look really cool, Alex! Just gets better and better!
Do you have some sort of schedule on this game? Or is this a work-until-your-satisfied one?
Keep up the good work!
Cheers!

It’s a bit of both. I’ve just completed a planned overhaul of the combat by adding the weapons, siege gun and teleportation pads. If I polished the game now and released it, it would probably be ok to good. However, I have one more set of ideas to throw into the mix.
I estimate that the full game should be done sometime mid-Jan. I’ll probably have it complete before the end of the year, but I need to get feedback from testers.

Patience! There’s not much waiting left. Besides, if it’s hard on you, imagine how hard it is for ME.
